A tailored training solution for scalable, secure and smarter operations
Omnia Interactive developed a comprehensive training and accreditation platform for plant engineers at the Mitsubishi Chemical's Teesside site, specialising in the complex chemical processes involved in acrylic manufacturing. The system provides in-depth training modules, ensuring engineers gain a thorough understanding of site-specific operations. Additionally, it includes a per-plant accreditation exam to validate engineers’ readiness to work in designated areas, enhancing safety and compliance.
The platform features a custom-built system that enables senior technicians to create, edit, and manage detailed technical process flow diagrams for various on-site plants. It also supports the seamless migration of hundreds of existing diagrams into the new framework, ensuring continuity and accuracy in process documentation.
Developed as a web-based application, the system integrates with the company's Active Directory (AD), allowing users to log in effortlessly with their existing credentials. Deployment was carried out in collaboration with Acora, Mitsubishi’s IT supplier, ensuring secure hosting within their intranet and full compatibility with their server infrastructure.
